When you have a tight budget, it is better to have ideas. Photographer Jeremie Buchholtz dreamed of a new house but did not want to ruin. His master stroke? Buy a garage in the center of Bordeaux and ask architects firm Fabre / deMARIEN convert it into living space. In six months, they have transformed the garage of 45 square meters in a comfortable home in which an amazing solution ensures intimacy and a sense of space.

This former garage is located in the east of Bordeaux, on the right bank of the Garonne. The fact that it is so close to the city center is a happy coincidence, since Jeremie and architects Fabre / deMARIEN sought primarily an affordable space that could be converted.
