1. recup fir ‘factory in family

«Advent is coming and» new pines «began to bloom in the beautiful shops of downtown that wonderfully renewed the genre. I had to do work at home and had ote old oak floorboards. When children ask me a rainy weekend to the tree, I have no desire to go to queue to buy again, like everyone else, a dead tree prematurely. I proposed to them was fun making it. They have ten and twelve. The groin specialist Lego assembly parts in 3000, made the plan on paper and I saw the slats to the jigsaw. The youngest manufactures small shelves and decided to repot shoots succulents for decorating. It has also been searching for the light string and all the little decorations she kept in her box of creatifs arts. We all assembled, nailing by-behind. The slats were practices that fit together to solidify the whole. A former foot tree has served us to the base. The result is less pretty than our model, but we spent a wonderful afternoon after a build, reflect together and above all fun. We really felt the spirit of Christmas «, Agnes says Carpentier.

4. From masking tape and recup ‘for a tree 3 euros!

«In our small apartment on the edge of the world in New Caledonia, we have become used to install some traditional fir … Especially because here is the full summer! So no question of preparing fake snow … We also try to reduce our ecological impact, all the years of course and especially in this period of celebrations, during which we tend to spend even more than to spoil the usual.

Our tree is built around the base of a simple living room lamp that is installed in a corner, with white walls. The lights are bright flowered branches (deco bouquets) that we had in the guest room. They are fixed head down and the legs are more or less unfolded from the bottom to the top to give the shape of the tree. So much for the central lighting.
On both sides of the wall, we have different colors glue masking tape (floral and star) to recall the shapes tip of a tree. It is the only element «new» this year because the balls are selected from those of previous years and in limited number.

Total budget: max 3 euros. Pastime: less than an hour … In theory, because we then spend more time playing with colorful ribbons. Express fir certainly a good time and especially creative with my four year old daughter! «

The «decorations» are gifts packet labels (received in a box celebre last year), but that can easily make oneself with different patterned papers. What is practical with the masking tape is that it can be wrong and start again if it does not please us. And it leaves no trace on the wall nor needle on the floor! «, helenec123 explains.

And then, with my friend (s) of the Bookcrossing, we organize every year a Christmas tree photo competition. Voila, my «tree» was found! I pumice, cleaned, brush, and finally glue (with a glue gun) the piece of wood on a tile ceramic (tile my kitchen tiles) to fit upright.

The decoration ? It is a gift received with an order, small objects etched in red felt. Two gilded stars, in my box of Christmas deco. There you go !

The mouth is made with a black-head greenhouse which we glue nodes black sticker gift paper. We manufactures pompoms for buttons, but they were too big for the size of the tree. Therefore, we are determined to put black Christmas balls. Branches of trees collected in the forest and finally the red scarf boa found these in store come complete the picture. We therefore urge to innovate in terms of deco and christmas dropping for the first time the old Christmas tree (which, to us, must feel good and go up to the ceiling!). The girls were okay and my husband, curious to see the result, finally accepts.

As we walked, with my husband, in the woods of Meudon, we selects three fallen branches on the ground. I wanted them rather white birch type, but I did not find the ground, and I did not cut live branches.

Balls and stars in different sizes of polystyrene were then purchased Truffaut, and a bomb of snow (for 3 euros) to decorate my branches.
