Bina Baitel: Lighting Pull Over
Bina Baitel imagine what a luminaire in the impact of a manipulation made on the light.
It is realized from luminous textile strips, intersecting at the base, then juxtaposed vertically to the top. An outer layer of silicone ensures the maintenance and opacity of the cone thus formed.
The inner part is coated with a translucent silicone skin. Its reversible form and processing optical fibers are used to extend the distribution of light by limiting the power consumption. Thus, the user modulates the light and if he returns next broadcast more
or less the luminaire.
This project could be realized thanks to the help of VIA and exists for now only as a prototype. It was presented at the show Maison et Objets in Paris in January, 2008.
